The COPS@road (Collision Preventing Safety System) consists of one or more illuminated traffic signs with variable content and several detectors. It serves to increase the safety of dangerous road sections, such as undetectable junctions, sharp bends, low-visibility underpasses, etc.
With the utilisation of detectors, it detects the presence or proximity of a dangerous segment and alerts the traffic participants to the potential danger of a collision using a light signal.
Power supply from solar energy ensures easy installation with low investment costs. No major interventions in the infrastructure are needed for the installation.
In 2014 we started cooperation with Zavarovalnica Triglav in a project promoting greater traffic safety in Slovenia. Within the scope of this project, we started to equip dangerous road sections across Slovenia with the COPS@road systems via joint financing.
